The author is Jean-Baptiste Jung, a 26 year old blogger, web developer, and web designer from the French speaking part of Belgium.

WordPress is a state-of-the-art publishing platform with a focus on aesthetics, web standards, and usability. WordPress is both free and priceless at the same time.
